All current students must audition! Your current placement in Jazz Ensemble does not guarantee your spot so make sure you are well prepared.

​

Auditions will be in 10 minute slots and include the following:

-Horns: Swing Etude below

-Rhythm: Swing, Latin and Ballad excerpts

-Short sightreading selection

-Optional (but preferred) improvised tune with recorded play-along accompaniment which you should bring to your audition.
